On Thursday, I will meet with the president of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, regarding the draft law on civil partnerships, said Katarzyna Kotula, Minister of Equality. – We have all kinds of additional arguments and research to convince the Polish People's Party to create such a government project – she added.

She said that talks with PSL representatives “in recent weeks and in recent months had a quite good atmosphere.”

– They were certainly much better than those conversations around the topic of abortion. I hope that we will be able to establish this discrepancy protocol, but also that, above all, we will be able to determine what the final scope of this project should look like, she said.

Kotula: we are ready for any version

– We are prepared for any version. We also have all kinds of additional arguments and research to convince you Polish People's Party for such a government project to be created, she assured.

– June is the month of pride. This is the month for community LGBT celebrates its very long journey, the history of recent years, the history of submitting projects on civil partnerships and marriage equality. Although the Left has marriage equality in its demands, we took a slight step back and decided on some kind of compromise, bearing in mind that the only government project that is possible to develop is the government project on civil partnerships, said the minister.
