Accident in Podebłocie (Masovian Voivodeship). On a curve in the road, the driver of a passenger car crashed into a fence and destroyed the concrete posts. All the people traveling in the mini were drunk.
The incident was reported to the police officer on Saturday after 6 p.m. It showed that a passenger car had hit a pole and there were injuries.
“Road traffic officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. The police determined that a 38-year-old resident of the Ryki district, driving a Mini One vehicle on a curve in the road, lost control of the vehicle and hit a fence, damaging the concrete posts. The man was drunk. It turned out that he had 1.3 per mille of alcohol in the body,” said Deputy Commissioner MaÅ‚gorzata Pychner from the District Police Headquarters in Garwolin in a statement.
Firefighters had to cut off the roof of the mini to get the injured out.

There were two other passengers in the car, aged 32 and 34. Both men were also drunk and were taken to hospital with injuries. “The younger of them initially ran away, but the police established his details. His family brought him to the hospital,” said Deputy Commissioner Pychner.
The 38-year-old was released after receiving medical assistance, but instead of going home, he was placed in police custody. On Monday, he was charged with causing a road accident while under the influence of alcohol. Assuming that the accident participants did not suffer serious injuries, the driver faces up to 4.5 years in prison.
