Reluga fields, a Polish woman living in Alicante, said on the program “day after day” on TVN24 that despite the announcements of the authorities that the electricity would be restored after 6-10 hours, “many people were afraid and it was visible on the streets”.
– Everyone was buying water, the stores were empty and the stores were closed, so if someone did not hurry with shopping, then there could be a problem – she emphasized.

“Everything stopped”
– At 12:30 a loud “snap” could be heard and cut off the electricity – Mrs. Izabela, who lives in the vicinity of Valencia, told the editorial office. The woman emphasized that there is gas and water in the place where she stays.
– We can cook. In many places, however, people do not even have it, because the water is electrically pumped. Everything stopped. There is also no cellular network – she donated before restoring the current in the country.
Mrs. Izabela added that the failure made her work difficult today. – I work remotely and today because of the failure I had to cancel the meetings. I lost some money. The worst thing was that I didn't even have the opportunity to inform my colleagues about the canceled meetings, because I had no coverage – she said.
– My husband was at the dentist today, fortunately he was waiting for his turn, so he managed to escape home, but there were patients whose procedures began dental. I feel sorry for them – she concluded.
“Lack of electricity is burdensome at many levels”
Mr. Adrian, who stays near Faro in Portugal He admitted the editorial office of Kontakt24 that “he has not encountered such a situation so far.” – Lack of electricity is burdensome at many levels, from the most basic ones: a non -working fridge and storage of food, to those related to work – he pointed out.
– I do my work remotely and today's power failure made this task to me very much. The inability to connect a computer to power and irregular internet access was a challenge – he reported.
Mr. Adrian added that the most troublesome is to wait for the power back to restore. – In the media they inform that the failure will last ten hours, if it's true, it's okay. However, I am afraid that it may take longer and then the situation will certainly be dramatic – he concluded.

“Everything must be written by hand on a piece of paper”
Mrs. Justyna, who lives in Valencia, told the editorial office of Kontakt24 how a power failure affects the lives of the inhabitants. – In Valencia we have a patron festival today. People have free at work, shops are closed, traffic on the streets is smaller than usual – she emphasized.
– In the only store next to the store, the queue is already going out onto the streets, because everything must be written manually on a piece of paper by sellers and counted on a calculator. You can only pay in cash, but ATMs also do not work in most places – she noted.
– Residents buy water and dry products that do not require cooking. We listen to the radio because the internet and the mobile network also does not work – reported Mrs. Justyna.
