Professor Antoni Dudek is a man who was very wrong in the past, said Jarosław Kaczyński. The PiS president thus commented on the claims of a historian and political scientist that the party's presidential candidate, Karol Nawrocki, is “one of the most dangerous people” in public space.
President of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński spoke at the conference on Thursday. He was asked, among other things, by the words of political scientist and historian Professor Antoni Dudek, who recently spoke in the media about the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, PiS candidate for president, Karol Nawrocki. He assessed that ““He is one of the most dangerous people to have appeared in Polish public space.”. When asked what this meant, Prof. Dudek said that Nawrocki “will be capable of actions as president that none of his predecessors, including Andrzej Duda, were capable of.”
Kaczyński: he is a man who was very wrong
– I have no reason to respond to what Professor Dudek thinks. I only know that this is a man who in life – although he was young then, it is easier to make mistakes because you have no experience – but he was very wrong – Kaczyński replied.
– I read about his speeches at some communist youth conferences in 1987 or 1988. That is, from the times when every intelligent person saw that communism was simply collapsing. It is collapsing not only in Poland, but what was very important then, very important, it is also collapsing in the Soviet Union, he continued. As he assessed, “you would have to be not only not very moral in this political dimension, but also very poor brains to do something like that.”
– That's all I can say on this matter. It is not worth worrying about people who demonstrate, let's say, these kinds of features – even if they can later write books, even not the worst ones. Mr. Dudek may have some personal anxieties (resentments, grievances – ed.). After all, this is the world of historians, but I don't know – maybe there are other reasons, he added.

“This eye is a new source of law”
The PiS president was also asked whether money had been transferred to the party's account. National Electoral Commission on Monday, it adopted the financial report of the PiS committee, thus implementing the decision of the unrecognized chamber of the Supreme Court. On the same day, the head of the National Electoral Commission, Sylwester Marciniak, sent a letter to the Minister of Finance on this matter Andrzej Domańskiinforming that there is no longer any reason to cut PiS subsidies.
Kaczyński announced on Thursday that the money “did not arrive.” He recalled the Prime Minister's entry on the X website on this matter and said that “there is no money for Tusk and there will be no money.” – Currently, this eye is a new source of law – he added.
In his opinion, “at the moment, the law in Poland is simply no longer applicable, that's how it should be defined.” – This is no longer a violation of the rule of law, this is not the first time I have mentioned it, but the law is no longer valid – he said.
He also appealed to society once again for financial support for Law and Justice.

Kaczyński: good government is one that does not divide citizens
Kaczyński also criticized the government Donald Tusk. He said that “good government is one that cares about the interests of citizens.” – Which does not divide them, treats them equally, does not force them where this coercion is not necessary – he added.
– It seems to me that the authority that existed in Poland between 2015 and 2023, i.e. the authority of Law and Justice, was able to do this through many measures, both in the field of economic policy and social policy. He will be able to repair public finances and will be able to obtain large funds to operate very effectively in other areas, he said.
– However, when it comes to the government we have today, we have the impression that they treat power completely differently. He treats power in such a way that it is, to some extent, an end in itself. Perhaps the interests of some specific groups are being pursued, but in no case is it the government that cares about the interests of society, said the PiS president.
