Firefighters from Radomsko (Łódź Voivodeship) were called to the local hospital for an unusual intervention. Little ducklings fell into one of the wells. – The mother duck was standing next to the manhole and “screaming” loudly – reports the spokesman for the Łódź firefighters. Eventually, the little birds and the entire duck family were rescued
This unusual intervention took place before 10 a.m. on the premises of the district hospital in Radomsko.
The facility asked firefighters for help in pulling out small ducklings that had fallen into a manhole.

When firefighters arrived at the scene, the mother of the ducks was still standing next to the well and “screaming” loudly. – We received a report from the hospital that small ducklings had fallen into a manhole, their mother was observing the entire action from nearby bushes, about 10 meters away from the firefighters. At first we managed to get three birds out, and a moment later another one. The ducklings were handed over to their mother's care and went away in a direction known only to them, says Brigadier Jędrzej Pawlak, press spokesman for the Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Łódź.
