Cases of infection with the Amazonian Oropouche virus have been reported in Europe. The National Prosecutor's Office has announced new charges against Father Michał O., president of the Profeto Foundation. 2. New virus in Europe

Nineteen cases of Amazonian Oropouche virus infection have been recorded in Europe, the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control reported.

Symptoms of viral Oropouche disease include fever with headache, nausea, vomiting, muscle and joint pain.

3. Flagship program in question

The National Prosecutor’s Office announced a new charge against Father Michał O., president of the Profeto Foundation, and two officials working in the Justice Fund department: Urszula D. and Karolina K.: participation in an organized criminal group.

As the tvn24.pl portal has learned, on August 13, three suspects in the investigation concerning the Justice Fund were charged with new charges. A day earlier, she filed a motion with the District Court in Warsaw to extend the temporary arrest of the three suspects for another three months.
