A 31-year-old resident of the Redzikowo commune (Pomeranian Voivodeship), who did not stop at police control and escaped from the police, was fined with a fine of PLN 37,000 and 128 penalties. He hid the car in the garage, he hid in the attic.

The incident occurred on March 19. Around 18.30, police officers of the Słupsk road attempted to stop the Skoda driver, whose technical condition drew their attention.

“Despite the officers of light and sound signals by officers, the driver did not react and continued the driving, and when the uniforms entered him and forced him to stop, he bypassed the police car and began escaping. During the escape, the man repeatedly broke the rules and posed a huge threat to other road users,” the police reported.

In the footsteps of tires and oil

As she reported, after some time the driver turned into the side roads in the area of ​​the Słupsk beltway. The uniforms determined the direction of the driver's escape on the attitude of fresh traces of tires left on the gravel surface, and when he entered the asphalt surface – based on traces of oil leaking from the oil pan, which the driver damaged during the escape.

These traces led policemen under one of the properties in the Redzikowo commune. They found the car in the garage, and the attic driver under a thick layer of insulating wool.

“A breat with breathalyzer showed that the 31 -year -old is sober, the drug pointed out that there is methamphetamine in his body,” the police said.

128 penalty points

The man was detained and transported to the command. A thorough analysis of the escape and offenses committed during it led to punishing the man with fines for a total amount of PLN 37,000 and 128 penalty points.

“The 31 -year -old has repeatedly caused a threat to road traffic, overtook at the intersection and in areas of pedestrian crossings, and the technical condition of the Skoda left much to be desired,” the police said.

He is threatened with a prison

The officers detained drivers of the driving license, will conduct separate proceedings in connection with the crimes he committed – not keeping to police control and driving a car under the influence of drugs.

For these crimes, the 31-year-old faces up to five years in prison.
