In the context of the government announced by the government, voluntary military training for each citizen said that “we must ask ourselves what numbers (trained people per year) should actually be.” According to him, a model example of personal reserves applies to Finland. He cited that about 5.5 million people live in this country, including “almost a million reservists”, which is nearly 20 percent. society.
According to this example in Poland – according to the general – there should be 7 million reservists. – Therefore, the only method of mass training are compulsory training. We are not talking about it for today, hence some training modules are constructed, matched and properly selected for the potential abilities of candidates for this training – explained General Klisz.
General Klisz: In three days we will not make a soldier
General Klisz asked about how much military training should last, he replied that “in three days we will not make a soldier.” – We are talking about a soldier in the first place that there is (him) the one who took the military oath. After three days it is not possible – he pointed out.
– Therefore, we need to communicate very carefully to the public what trainings are and (…) weigh what we say to our citizens – he explained. According to him, training should be described as “innovative, interesting and intense”.
The operational commander assured that modeling on training models in other countries, “we know what to do”. – However, the question remains how to collide this need for training with the capabilities of citizens and the economy – added General Klisz. He estimated that basic training should last 40 days. – Can we afford it? Probably not today – he admitted.

The general explained that so far a military plan of support has not yet been developed at the meetings of military commanders of European countries Ukraine After the possible conclusion of a total truce with Russia. He said that “it is not about it yet” so that soldiers who would be sent to Ukraine as part of a possible peace mission “were on this conventional line of the front.” In his opinion, to ensure security, European troops or the army of the “Coalitions of Volunteers”, they do not necessarily have to be on the border.
He argued that three years from the beginning of Russia's full invasion have shown that Ukraine “was doing well on the front line and can stop Russian tendencies, primarily in this land domain.” – So yes, we are able, as a broadly understood “coalition of volunteers”, ensure the safety of Ukraine under certain conditions. And these conditions are primarily politics, politics and politics again – he emphasized.
Asked whether a response to possible provocations from the Russian side was developed during meetings, the operational commander replied that “we asking these questions to ourselves the military, waiting for political guidelines.”
– From what we already know, it is rather determined that it will not be an operation under the aegis of the United Nations, i.e. it will not be a resolution of the Security Council – said General Klisz. He added that “this operation will rather not be under NATO's aegis.”

General Klisz about the US abilities needed in Ukraine
Gen. Klisz asked if this operation could be based only on Europe, without the military participation of Americans, he replied that “it would be very hard.” He explained that it is not only about soldiers, but “above all about the abilities that ensure the United States armed forces”.
Among them he mentioned “air support, information support”. – There are many abilities that provide in NATO Only Americans (…). One of the goals we are working on is to develop solutions that would also take into account the strength or potential of the United States – he explained.
“Gentlemen politicians, we need a new ammunition factory”
The head of the National Security Bureau (BBN), General Dariusz Łukowski, asked on Tuesday at Polsat News, whether it is true that the army has an ammunition on barely five days of war, he replied that “this is possible in many types of ammunition”, but it cannot be said that “in all types of funds we have the same situation.”
The operational commander explained that “in some ranges we really have deficiencies.” – On the other hand, please remember one thing: Ukraine showed that what we estimated in NATO, that it is enough for a month of fighting, it turns out that with this intensity of fighting it may be enough for us for two weeks and hence our estimates – he explained.
– And it turns out at the moment that we, the military, are just saying: gentlemen politicians, we need a new ammunition factory – added General Klisz.
