The artist began to suspect that diet could be a problem – since last year he has taken drugs that inhibited appetite. “I stopped eating and did not provide my body with nutrients,” he said in an interview with a tabloid. He dropped several kilograms, but at the same time he was diagnosed with scurvy, a disease caused by a deficiency in the body of vitamin C. “Disease of 17th -century pirates” – as he said. The star admitted that after changing the diet, depression gradually subsided.

What is a scurvy? The disease is now rare, was common among old sailors. During long journeys on sailing ships, their teeth fell, bones broke, no wounds. Natural products containing ascorbic acid, i.e. vitamin C. turned out to be an effective remedy.
