As it turned out, the driver was a 25-year-old citizen Ukraine. He had 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his body.
“He was traveling with two other men of the same nationality – a 24-year-old and a 28-year-old, who were also intoxicated. The men were detained and put in a police cell. Now the irresponsible 25-year-old will answer for his actions in court. He faces a penalty of up to 3 years of imprisonment,” said the Sandomierz police spokeswoman, junior aspirant Iwona Paluch, in a statement.
