For many weeks, months, I have had leaks from audits, made at political request, I have not found any serious arguments there, saying that state-owned companies were in any way involved in the campaign – said Jacek Sasin, former Minister of State Assets, in the program “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” on TVN24.

Konrad Piasecki asked Jacek Sasinwhether he has anything to reproach himself for when it comes to financing the election campaign.

– I am generally a person critical of myself (..). For many weeks, months, I have had leaks from audits, made on political orders, I have not found any serious arguments there, saying that state-owned companies were in any way involved in the campaign on the side of the government – said the former minister.

The politician also referred to the findings of PO MEP MichaÅ‚ Szczerba, who in August reported that on September 25 last year KGHM signed an agreement with BERM to sponsor the event, which took place on September 16-17 last year. “Another half a million for BERM, siphoned off for the illegal campaign of Jacek Sasin and PiS,” he wrote.

Earlier, the media reported that it involved the production of election gadgets: mugs, T-shirts, pens, the organization of events, the printing of posters and promotion on social media.

When asked if he used gadgets with “Jacek Sasin” printed on them, he replied “I paid for them in accordance with the regulations”.

– It was financed by the electoral committee. PIS. (..) You can show any invoice like that and add to it – he said. He assured that “he had already shown the invoices to journalists”. – Should I carry it now? Let's be serious – he said.
