– Russian propaganda and Belarusian propaganda from the beginning of this war accused us that in general the involvement of Poles is so that we would enter Ukraine with the troops. I am very happy that both the opposition and the government say in one voice – both the president and the prime minister, which rarely happens, who says that he has confidence in the president in this matter. The Polish political class is uniform in this matter – said Kamiński.

Kownacki: We should be the last country that would be involved in this way

Bartosz Kownacki said that “we should be the last state that would be involved in this way.” – We helped Ukraine enormously. We were the country, which – in my opinion – saved Ukraine's sovereignty at the moment. The help was gigantic, our tasks are (now – ed.) Completely different – he added.

In his opinion, at this point, the decision to send soldiers as part of the peace mission would be “terribly received”.

– I would like to remind you that when Jarosław Kaczyński talked about it three years ago, he was ridiculed, and then he said that this necessity of the presence of allied troops in one form or another would be needed (….).
