There have been a few anniversaries this year, and STS will not feel left out. 2022 marks 25 years since the Polish company was established. The quarter of a century that has followed has seen them become leaders of the Polish iGaming sector and one of the top online gambling sites in the UK.
The company has expanded continually and now employs more than 1,500 people. It has four offices, two of them in Katowice and Warsaw in Poland, plus two others in Prague and Malta.
When STS was launched, its mission was to dominate the Polish gambling market, and it has achieved that with the company holding a 45 per cent share of the market in their home country. There are over 440 STS betting shops in Poland, with a presence in all the major cities in the country.

Expanding to the UK
The company began opening up to other European markets in 2019. STS was successfully granted a licence by the UK Gambling Commission, which shows it is a company whose importance must not be underestimated. Many gambling companies have seen licence applications turned down or licences are taken away from them.
