Szczecin. A university employee and an entrepreneur detained by the CBA. Investigation into PARP and NCBR

CBA officers detained a researcher and an entrepreneur in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. This concerns an investigation into the unfavorable disposal of the property of PARP and NCBR. A project to build a prototype of a floating unit was implemented as part of public funding.

According to the press team of the Central Anticorruption Bureau, the arrest took place in the Greater Poland Voivodeship.

– An employee of a technical university was charged with participating in an organized criminal group and aiding and abetting fraud of significant value. The entrepreneur was charged with aiding and abetting fraud and money laundering, the CBA press team reported.

The detainees were brought to the District Prosecutor's Office in Szczecin. The prosecutor imposed bail on them in the amount of PLN 100,000. PLN and 50 thousand PLN, police surveillance combined with a ban on contacting other suspects and specified persons, and a ban on leaving the country combined with confiscation of the passport.

Officers of the CBA Branch in Szczecin are investigating crimes involving unfavorable disposal of the property of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and the National Center for Research and Development. A project to build a prototype of a floating unit was implemented as part of public funding.

In the ongoing investigation into fraud of a significant value, 13 people have already been charged, and the total amount of property secured in the case is over PLN 22 million.
