Szczecin. The police helicopter covered 165 truck drivers on breaking the rules

West Pomeranian policemen carried out inspections on highways and fast roads. They used a helicopter for this. They noticed 165 cases of breaking the rules by truck drivers.

156 truck drivers broke the ban on overtaking trucks on highways and expressways with two lanes in one direction. Another nine drivers violated this ban, ahead of other roads where these restrictions apply.

West Pomeranian officers carried out inspections on March 7 on highways and expressways, using a police helicopter.

The younger aspirant Natalia Gogosza from the Provincial Headquarters in Szczecin reported that the air had been perfectly visible. – During the activities, the police revealed numerous cases of violations of the regulations – she added. There were 165 in total.

Commissioner Mirosława Rudzińska explained that not all drivers were fined. “In the face of some of them, offense proceedings are conducted,” she said.

The ban on overtaking trucks by other trucks is valid from July 1, 2023. The fine for breaking this recipe is one thousand zlotys and 8 penalty points.
