Wednesday's meeting will be for our arbitrator 54 in the Champions League. Felix Brych is missing to the record holder in this respect. Listkiewicz is convinced that the 44-year-old will soon pierce this result. – He is experienced, but still low and to the nearest World Cup (in 2026 – editor's note) will easily be an active arbiter. In the Champions League he will sit two or three seasons. Brych's record holder will easily catch up and even chase away – he explained.
Szymon Marciniak was the main referee of the final LM match from the 2022/23 season. A few months ago Slavko Vinć got such an honor. It has not yet happened that the referee conducted the most important meeting of these European games twice. Listkiewicz claims that there is a chance for a Pole to be first.
– When it comes to skills and form, Szymon is the best candidate for such a meeting, but you have to remember about geopolitics. This has a big impact, because UEFA wants to give a chance to all countries whose judges present the right level. However, if only the form decided, the Pole is definitely a huge favorite – he concluded.
