The US ambassador in Ukraine Bridget A. Brink published an entry about a Russian rocket attack on Kiev on Sunday. This time she mentioned that Russia is the aggressor. She did not do this in her previous post regarding a rocket attack on a crooked corner, which aroused the indignation of the Ukrainian authorities.

“From 6.30 Kiev and all of Ukraine are attacked with ballistic and maneuvering rockets from Russia,” Bridget A. Brink wrote on the X. Ambassador on Sunday. The ambassador announced that there were loud explosions in Kiev and several other cities and there are reports of the wounded.

Brink's previous entry about the Friday attack on the crooked corner caused a negative response to Ukraine. “He scares that tonight the ballistic rocket hit in a place near the playground and restaurants in the Krzywny Rog. Over 50 wounded and 16 killed, including six children. Here's why this war should end” – wrote the diplomat.

Brink commented on Friday's entry, among others President of Ukraine Wołodymyr Zelanski. “Unfortunately, the reaction of America's embassy is unpleasantly surprised: such a strong state, such a strong nation and such a poor reaction. They even were afraid to speak the word 'Russian' talking about a rocket that killed children.”

Rocket attack on the crooked corner

The attack on the crooked corner took place on Friday evening. According to the Ukrainian authorities, the Russians used the Casket Ballistic missile for him. It fell around the popular cafe and playground. The youngest child who died as a result of the impact was three years old. The oldest – 17. The bullet, followed by a drone, also killed nine adults. At least 68 people were injured. A three -day mourning was announced in the city.
