Autumn will begin in all of Poland with sunshine and high temperatures. In some parts of the country it will be downright hot. The weather will start to change in the middle of next week.
– We will owe the sunny and very warm weather at the turn of the week to the stable, extensive high pressure system Serkan. In the next few days, the high pressure center will move away from the territory of Russia, and subsequent lows and related atmospheric fronts will move more and more boldly from the Atlantic towards central Europe – informs tvnmeteo.pl weather forecaster Damian Zdonek.
Sunshine and up to 26 degrees
Astronomical autumn will begin on Sunday. This day is marked by sunny weather, only in the morning there will be locally disappearing fog in the north and east of the country and the sky will be slightly cloudy. The maximum temperature will be from 21 degrees Celsius in Pomerania to 23-24 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country. The wind will be weak and moderate, southeasterly.
Monday, the first day of calendar autumnalso looks set to be sunny, although the cloud cover will start to increase from the west. The thermometers will show from 22°C in the Lower Silesia region to 26°C in the Suwałki region. A moderate southerly wind will blow.
In Tuesday initially in the west, and then also in the center of the country, the cloudiness will be large and complete. There will be rainfall of 5-10 liters per square meter. The sunny weather will continue in the eastern regions. The maximum temperature will reach from 18 degrees Celsius in Western Pomerania to 24 degrees Celsius in Suwałki and Podkarpacie. The wind will be moderate, gusty, south-westerly.
There will be changes in the weather
– From Wednesday, we will have more dynamic weather with occasional rain and strong winds. A foehn wind will appear in the mountains – our weather forecaster predicts. – The thermometers are still forecasting quite high values, with temporary drops in the West Pomerania region, and it is only towards the end of the week that a flow of cold air from the north of the continent will be noticeable over Poland – he adds.
On Wednesday variable cloudiness is forecast. Rain will fall in the northern and eastern Poland. Thermometers will show from 19 degrees Celsius in Western Pomerania to 21 degrees Celsius in Podkarpacie. Moderate and gusty winds will blow from the south-west.
Thursday will bring large and complete cloud cover with clearings, but there will also be rain. The maximum temperature will be from 17-18 degrees Celsius in the north-west to 20-21 degrees Celsius in the south-east of Poland. The wind will be quite strong, with gusts very strong, south-westerly.
