Marcin Ogulewicz from Coface pointed out that the industry is suffering from delays in implementing funds from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO). “There was a continuing decline in railway investments, prolonged discussions on the country's energy transformation and general inertia resulting from the government's review of investment projects,” he wrote in a comment quoted by the daily.

He estimated that the industry's goal for the coming months is to survive until the long-awaited funds from public programs are released. “Taking into account the specificity of the implementation and implementation of construction projects and climatic conditions, the improvement of the situation in the construction industry will not occur until the second half of next year at the earliest,” Ogulewicz emphasized.

The construction industry has hopes related to the construction of the CPK

After some stagnation in the first half of the year, the activities of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) are gaining momentum. “Further contracts are being signed. Since the beginning of the year, road construction workers have concluded 34 contracts for route sections with a total length of 443 km and a value of construction works of approximately PLN 17 billion,” we read.
