The intersection of DK 50 and S17, Człękówka. Collision between a bus and a truck, one person dies

A bus and a truck collided on Wednesday morning near the intersection of national road No. 50 with the S17 route in Człękówka (Masovian Voivodeship). One of the bus passengers did not survive. The road is blocked.

– There was a collision between a truck and a bus. A total of three people traveled in the vehicles: two in a bus and one in a truck. One person from the bus was trapped inside, firefighters helped him get out. The second one was outside the vehicle. A medical rescue team arrived on site. One of the people traveling in the bus was confirmed dead – senior Captain Maciej Łodygowski from the Otwock fire brigade told us after 8 o'clock.

He added that firefighters secured the scene of the incident. A total of six fire trucks were deployed there, i.e. about 20 rescuers. – The road is blocked in both directions. The police are conducting activities on site, the firefighter summed up.

According to GDDKiA, road disruptions may last until 11:30.
