Due to snowfall, the Jakuszyce-Harrachov border crossing was closed to trucks – informed the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. Difficulties for drivers may last up to 30 hours.
In a statement, road workers announced on Thursday that the route was closed due to heavy snowfall and poor weather conditions. The Jakuszyce-Harrachov border crossing is located on the Polish DK3 and Czech D10.

“The suggested passage for trucks towards the Czech Republic is possible through the border crossing located on DK8 Kudowa-Słone,” said representatives of GDDKiA. The disruptions may last approximately 30 hours.
Heavy snowfall is forecast in the mountains until Saturday. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued warnings.
