Fraudsters send e-mails with links to a false page about financial e-checks. In this way they want to extort data – warns the Ministry of Finance.
“Fraudsters send e-mails in which they encourage you to click on links to the false page regarding financial e-checks”-he warns Ministry of Finance in a press release.
He adds that “after clicking on such a link, the user is redirected to the login form, which requires providing the address and password.
Fake websites
“Employees of the Ministry of Finance do not send this type of message. Use of the E-TRANSMENT FINALLY application does not require the application of a login and password for e-mail.
“We warn against fraudsters who, using e-mails and fake websites, try to extort taxpayers' data.”
The ministry has noticed that false pages are often similar to the original pages of the Ministry of Finance and are difficult to distinguish them. “Therefore, pay special attention to the description of the link in the website address. Fake addresses include, for example, commas instead of dots, minor errors, typos or additional characters” – he calculated.
Application E-TRANSMENT FINANCE
MF reminded that to use the free application of E-Trawing Funds, you should go to the website https://www.podatki.gov.pl/e-sprawozdani- finansowe/aplikacji/ And click “Go to the e-sales application”.
“The application does not require data providing data such as a login or e -mail password,” it was emphasized.
The application of the E-Trawing Funds enables:
- introduction of data into the financial statements,
- saving the entered financial statements,
- opening of the saved financial statements,
- preparation by entities submitting financial statements to the head of the National Tax Administration and signing shipping to the boss Cash register financial statements with additional documents, and then download UPO.
