In the coming days, at any time, there may be a large, potentially serious air attack on the capital of Ukraine – warned on Friday the United States Embassy in Kiev.
“The embassy, as always, recommends US citizens to be prepared for an immediate search for a shelter in the event of an anti -aircraft alarm,” it was stated in a statement.

Earlier on Friday, the White House reported that the presidents Donald Trump and Wołodymyr Zelnski had a “very good and productive conversation” regarding, among others ratification of a critical mineral agreement by Ukraine with USA. After her, Trump himself wrote that he calls both sides to “immediate, unconditional 30-day arms suspension”.
He added that if one of the parties does not respect this attempt to realize the truce, then “further sanctions” that the US and “their partners” will come into force. Because Ukraine is not covered by the sanctions of the USA and other Western countries, the addressee of the message about “further sanctions” was Russia.
Trump's statement fell a day after the vice president of JD Vance during a conference in Washington stated that because Russia decided that the proposal of a 30-day truce is not in its “strategic interest”, the US wants to “go beyond obsessed with a 30-day arms suspension” and focus on how a long-term solution should look like.
Vance also assessed that Russia is demanding too much, which he also repeated in a Thursday interview with Fox News, indicating the desire to connect territories that it does not control. Contrary to Trump's declarations, the vice president also threatened again that the US could leave mediation in conflict if Russia would not negotiate in good faith.
