On Monday, April 21, Robert Iwanek posted unpleasant information in social media. “Adam Gołaszewski, a pupil of Piaseczno, a former player of the junior teams of Legia, Polonia and Jagiellonia, as well as Senior Teams of Piaseczno, Świtu Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and FC Lesznowola, is dead.

“A pupil of the Piaseczno club, son of a former Piaseczno player and the legend of Polonia Warsaw Igor Gołaszewski. Huge expressions of sympathy” – wrote the profile “Local media” also on X.

For now, it is not known what caused the player's death at such a young age. Gołaszewski at the junior age was considered a lot of talent and promised to be a solid player as a helper. Many bode his career similar to Igor Gołaszewski, his father.

Igor Gołaszewski is a legend of Polonia Warsaw, with which he won the Polish championship and the Polish Cup. In the Premier League he played 222 matches in which he scored 35 goals.
