Warsaw police officers intervened at the last minute. When they entered the office, the patient was waiting for the procedure in a dental chair. – A 59 -year -old man detained by us actually stood over a man sitting in an armchair and held dental instruments – says the operational officer of the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
However, he was not a dentist. His ex -wife is a dentist. The 59 -year -old has repeatedly seen how she helped the needy – however, it is definitely not enough to take patients on his own.
– He was formulated with the allegation of misleading patients about his rights and the provision of health services in the scope of this dentist's profession – informs the Commissioner Paulina Onyszko from the Warsaw VI Police District Headquarters.

The man's doubts about the professionalism of psychologists proved to be justified. Due to the fact that he is probably hiding abroad, the court issued a European arrest warrant. The prosecutor's office suspects that a woman – despite the lack of qualifications and education – has adopted over one and a half thousand patients for several years.
– This lady built a new identity and with this identity of a specialist psychologist simply committed crimes – says Daniel Sawicki.

The police also arrested Oskar D. from Zielona Góra. The 25-year-old argued that he could cure everything and conducted virtual advice for those looking for help from the sick. – He did not have medical education, but only had junior high school education, he gave medical advice – informs Ewa Antonowicz from the District Prosecutor's Office in Zielona Góra.

Soon the state is to get a more effective weapon to fight fraudsters. By the end of June, an act is to be developed, which will strengthen the position of the Patient Ombudsman. – We will be able to give public warnings, i.e. warn people and patients that “be careful, we are dealing with a cheater, a charlatan who wants to feed on the good of the patient” – says Bartosz Łukasz Chmielowiec.
The spokesman will be able to impose millions of penalties on fraudsters and issue decisions to immediately suspend their activities, which instead of helping, can harm.
