Krystyna Przybylska, mother of actress Anna Przybylska, who died in 2014, was a victim of fraud. In 2022, the woman lent Magdalena R. from Włocławek (Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship) PLN 890,000, which she has not recovered so far. The proceedings in this case are being conducted by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdynia (Pomeranian Voivodeship).
Krystyna Przybylska told the whole story in “Gazeta Wyborcza”. – Magdalena R.’s son helped my daughter bury my husband, who died of Covid in 2021. I was still in the hospital at that time. Previously, he helped his husband in various matters relating to the Association of Displaced Gdynians, of which his husband was the president. I was grateful to him, says Krystyna Przybylska. The woman admitted that R. and her son “gradually gained her trust.”

– At one point, Magdalena R. asked me for a loan. She needed the money to pay the alleged tax on the Bajon inheritance that she was supposed to receive from her family abroad – adds Krystyna Przybylska in an interview with “GW”.
She lost PLN 890,000
In April 2022, the 71-year-old transferred a total of PLN 890,000 to Magdalena R. in three tranches. The woman was supposed to return this amount within 3 months. She didn’t do it. When the case was reported to the police, she claimed that she had already repaid the loan almost in full, and “if necessary, she will pay it back a second time.”

It turns out that Magdalena R. is well known to the justice system. There are several criminal cases pending against her. She also has an invalid judgment sentencing her to 2 years in prison for fraud. Since May 2023, proceedings have been ongoing at the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdynia regarding fraud, of which Krystyna Przybylska was the victim.
– The proceedings remain ongoing. It concerns an act pursuant to Art. 286 §1 of the Penal Code in connection with joke. 294 § 1 of the Penal Code, i.e. causing the injured party to unfavorably dispose of property of significant value in the total amount of PLN 890,000 by misleading them as to the circumstances of concluding the loan agreements and the possibility and intention to repay them. At the current stage, an investigation is being conducted into the case, said prosecutor Grażyna Wawryniuk, spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gdańsk.
