Three – so many races this season needed Max Verstappen to win. It finally succeeded! The Dutchman was unrivaled in Japan GP. On Saturday he won Pole Position, which made him a bit easier for him to drive in Sunday's struggles. In the race, however, it was not without controversy, and the hero of one of them was the defender of the title. He also added oil to the fire before the podium ceremony.

Lando Norris was able to keep in touch with Verstappen almost all the distance of competition in Japan. On the 23rd lap they both pulled down new tires. And then there was a controversy and at the same time dangerous situation. It seemed that the British could overtake the Dutchman in the service avenue, because his mechanics had expressly dealt with Pit Stop.
And at the trip, the drivers drove a circle nearby. Nobody was going to give way, but Norris was in a worse situation. Suddenly a band of grass was in front of him. Norris, however, did not give up and traveled on her, losing some time and leading to a potentially dangerous situation. He had to correct the steering wheel quite strongly so as not to hit the barriers. “He pushed me,” he shouted to his own team.
After the race, both drivers, as well as the third at the finish line Oscar Piastri watched this situation in the room before handing the cups. The Dutchman's reaction did not take long. After a while, he threw a fairly eloquent joke, which he slightly trembled at the attempt to overtake the British. “Quite a road mower,” the defender of the title said, to which Norris only nodded. You can see that he was not rather satisfied with Verstappen's tenacity on the track, as well as his “cuts”.
The fight for the title began again
Between these drivers it also sparkled a bit last season. No wonder, they fought for the title at the time. There was even a collision between them in Austria GP. There was a lot of damage in both cars – the Dutchman reached the finish line, but the British failed.
