At the weekend at the Warsaw Zachodnia station, in connection with finishing works in the area of ​​platform No. 1, restrictions on the traffic of the Warsaw Access Railway trains will be introduced. There will also be a special timetable. Difficulties will also affect passengers traveling by fast city rail. Peron 2 of the station will be completely excluded from traffic.

The Warsaw Access Railway announced that in connection with the need to perform additional and finishing works in the area of ​​platform No. 1 WKD as part of the reconstruction of the Warsaw Zachodnia station, on Saturday and Sunday, March 22-23 on the WKD railway line, restrictions on train traffic will be introduced and a special timetable will apply.

For WKD trains on the section Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie – Warsaw Śródmieście WKD will then be closed to track 1 (right track towards Grodzisk Mazowiecki). Train traffic on this section will take place two -way only on the neighboring active track No. 2 (right track towards the center of Warsaw).

Movement on track No. 2, neighboring against the closure track, will be conducted in both directions on the Komorów section – Warsaw Śródmieście WKD. After track No. 1 – which will be about closing in the area of ​​the Warsaw Zachodnia station – trains from Komorów will only reach the Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie stop.

In a given direction of traffic (from the city border to the Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie stop-alternately every 30-40 min.) All trains commuting to and departing from the Warsaw Śródmieście WKD station or the Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie Station will implement connections from/to the Grodzisk Mazowiecki Radońska station. Connections to/from Milanówka will only be implemented on the relation from/to the Komorów station, on which the change to trains will be subject to connections between Grodzisk Mazowiecki and Warsaw with the waiting time of up to 12 minutes. The change will also be possible to be completed at any stop located on the Komorów section – Podkowa West Leśna.

Difficulties will also affect passengers traveling by fast city rail. From Friday (March 21) to Sunday (March 23), platform number 2 of the Warsaw Zachodnia station (departures to the east) will be completely excluded from traffic.
