The incident took place in Kolonia Warszawska, on Aleja Krakowska. As Artur Węgrzynowicz from tvnwarszawa.pl found out, the driver of a passenger car hit a pedestrian. Our reporter's information was confirmed by the police.
– A pedestrian was hit on a marked pedestrian crossing – Magdalena Gąsowska, spokeswoman for the Piaseczno police, told us.
She added that police findings show that the perpetrator of the accident was the driver of the Volkswagen vehicle, a 70-year-old man. – His driving license was suspended – said the spokeswoman.
– A 40-year-old man with injuries was taken to a hospital in Warsaw – concluded Gąsowska.
