On Monday, November 4, traffic changes will be introduced on the following streets: Sienkiewicza, Głębocka and Sokołowska. In addition, railway workers will close Tunelowa Street.
The capital city hall announced that the reconstruction of the quarter of Jasna, Sienkiewicza, Złota and Zgoda streets is entering the next stage. On November 4, around 6 a.m., road workers will close Sienkiewicza Street between Jasna and Powstańców Warszawy Square.
“Residents of buildings along the closed section will still be able to drive or walk to the property,” the statement noted.
The next stage of bus lane construction
In turn, a bus lane is under construction on Głębocka Street. The move is scheduled to be postponed on November 4. Drivers will take the second route between the shopping center and Malborska Street. “There will be one lane in each direction. At the intersection with Malborska, drivers will go straight or right on Głębocka Street – they will not turn left into Przy Grodzisku Street,” officials said.
New asphalt on Sokołowska Street
Road works will also cover Sokołowska Street in Wola. There will be new asphalt on the road. The works will start on Monday, November 4, around 10 p.m. Drivers will not drive from Wolska to św. Wojciech. The disruptions will last until Friday, November 8, until 6 a.m.
Railway workers will close Tunelowa
Also on Monday, the construction site around the Western Railway Station will occupy Tunelowa Street. From 6 a.m. drivers will not enter Tunelowa from Kolejowa.
Difficulties will affect not only drivers, but also bus passengers.
“Buses of line 103 will not reach the terminus at the Western Railway Station from Tunelowa Street. They will end and start their journeys at the Brylowska 01 stop, which is on Brylowska Street, about 150 meters before the intersection with Prądzyńskiego. Towards the Młociny Metro they will go: Prądzyńskiego, Kolejowa, Przyokopowa to Karolkowa and to its permanent route,” it was reported.
