On Friday, the replacement of the surface on “Solidarności” Avenue in the City Center and the laying of asphalt on Kobiałka Street in Białołęka will begin. On Monday, the replacement of tram tracks on Okopowa Street is planned. There will be difficulties and changes.
Road workers have already replaced the curbs on Aleja “Solidarności”, and new asphalt has been laid on Marszałkowska. Now both renovated sections of the roads will be connected with another section of even surface. The works will start on Friday, July 26, at 10 p.m. and will last until Monday, July 29, at 5 a.m. During this time, Aleja “Solidarności” from Aleja Jana Pawła II to Plac Bankowy and part of the square itself leading to ul. Elektoralna will be closed.
Drivers will be directed to detours via Jana Pawła II and Świętokrzyska or Anielewicza.
The following buses will run on detour routes: 107, 111, 171, 520 and N11, N41, N42, N61and 160 and 190 will run along the WZ route without changes.

The construction of the sewage system on Kobiałka Street is coming to an end. Now, road workers will reconstruct the road surface. The first stage of the work, between Złotokwiatu and Ruskowy Bród Streets, will begin on the night of Friday to Saturday, July 26 to 27, and will last until Sunday, July 28.The detour will take you along the streets of Mochtyńska, Fajna, Mańkowska and Ruskowy Bród.. Buses will run differently 120 and N14. Asphalt laying on the next section, Ruskowy Bród-Olesin, is planned for early August.

Another of the track renovations announced for this year is starting. On Monday, July 29, the central part of the intersection of Okopowa and “Solidarności” Avenue will be closed. The renovation on Kercelak, which will last until the end of the summer, will be carried out in parallel with the modernization of the crossing at Chłodna. During the works, drivers will not turn from “Solidarności” Avenue into Okopowa and vice versa. In turn, those leaving Chłodna and Wolska Streets, towards Okopowa or Towarowa, will be required to turn right.
Due to renovation, trams will not run between Kercelak and Zawiszy Square. On this route, they will be replaced by buses of the following lines: Z-2. Additional tram lines will also be launched: 70, 71 and 73. Lines operating: 1, 23, 24 and 27 will be suspended and the trains of the line 20, 22 and 26 will take detours. Buses on the following lines will also run differently 100, 171, 190 and N91.
