Railwaymen announced a tender for a new passenger information system. It assumes the installation of displays with a timetable, monitoring and sound system at 51 stations and stops of the Warsaw Agglomeration.

Anna Pocznska-Pawluk from the PKP PLK press team announced that the project will apply for funding from the National Reconstruction Plan (KPO).

The new system will be installed on 9 railway lines in the Warsaw agglomeration. – It will provide the current timetable, legible information, also for the visually impaired and messages in foreign languages ​​- explained Poznań -Pawluk.

Changes at 51 stations and stops

In 2026, electronic boards with a timetable, monitoring and sound system will be installed at 51 stations and stops.

The system will be installed on line 1 Warsaw Zachodnia – Katowice at Grodzisk Mazowiecki stations, Jaktorów, Międzyborów, and Żyrardów; On route 6 Zielonka – Kuźnica Białostocka at Zielonka, Wołomin, Zagościniec, Dobczyn, Urle, Szewnica, Klembów, Jasienica Masovian

It will also become modern at Warsaw stations: Warsaw Aleje Jerozolimskie, Warsaw Rakowiec, Warsaw Żwirki and Wigury, Warsaw Służewiec, Warsaw Okęcie, Warsaw Dawidy, Warsaw Jeziorki, Nowa Iwiczna, Piaseczno, Zalesie Górne, Ustanówek, Czachówek Górny, Czachówek South 8 Warsaw Zachodnia – Kraków Główny); Warsaw Praga, Warsaw Toruńska, Warsaw Żerań, Warsaw Płudy (line No. 9 Warsaw Wschodnia – Gdańsk Główny) and the Warsaw Zoo stops (line No. 20) and Warsaw Chopin Airport (line No. 440).

Changes at the stations near Warsaw

Railwaymen said that the task also includes the modernization of the platform in Radzymin, where new shelters, benches and amenities for the visually impaired and passengers with limited mobility will appear.

The opening of offers is to take place in March this year.
