Construction of the tram route to Wilanów is underway. The completion of road works on Spacerowa Street is approaching. The works will focus on adjusting curbs and manholes, and the road will be equipped with an abrasive layer of asphalt. From Monday, October 14, there will be one lane on a part of Spacerowa.

The builders of the new tram route must adjust the curbs that separate the road and the tracks on Spacerowa and Belwederska. They will then start laying the final layer of asphalt.

“From Monday, October 14, drivers going down Spacerowa Street – behind the zebra crossing at the Morskie Oko park – will use the so-called 'trambus lane'. At the intersection with Belwederska, there will be one lane straight and to the right. The connection between Zajączkowska and Spacerowa will remain open at all times” – Tramwaje Warszawskie explained in a statement.

The last layer on Spacerowa

A few days later, the contractor plans to lay the last layer of surface on the Spacerowa road leading to Belwederska Street. During asphalting, there will be no crossing from Goworko towards Dolny Mokotów.

In the next stage, the works will move to the other side – to the road of Goworka Street from Spacerowa to Puławska. Paving and asphalting works are also planned here.

At the same time, road workers will adjust the curbs at the track crossing from Waryńskiego to Goworka (downhill) and lay asphalt on the Puławska road towards the center. The work schedule may be affected by weather conditions.
