In Pisz (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship) seven young men beat a twenty-year-old brutally in front of the night shop, who was critical of the hospital in a critical condition. This hooligan act was registered by surveillance cameras. The police quickly determined and detained perpetrators from sixteen to nineteen years old. The court will decide about their further fate.

The beating took place on Friday (April 25) after 10pm in front of one of the night shops in Piski Park.

– Everyone together, in a bestial way, attacked a 20-year-old for no reason. They threw themselves at him, jerked him, hit all over his body and kicked together as he fell to the ground. The victim in a critical state was taken to the hospital – informed Commissioner Anna Szypczyńska from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Pisz.

Stops and arrests

Thanks to the recording from monitoring, policemen managed to track and stop the attackers. They are the inhabitants of Pisz and Ruciana-Nida aged 16 to 19. There were two minors in the group. By decision of the family court, one of the detained juvenile was released and under the supervision of a probation officer.

– Due to the importance and brutality of this act and its effects, the police officers applied to the prosecutor for the application of detainees to detainees. Isolation of these people is crucial so that there is no escalation of violence in the city in the near future. The prosecutor accepted this conclusion – added the Commissioner Szypczyńska.
