On Thursday evening, a deer was walking along Krupówki. – Fortunately, everything ended well. The police assisted the animal until the deer crossed Rówień Krupowa and found its way to the forest. Nothing bad happened, no car hit him – says Asp. staff. Roman Wieczorek, spokesman for the police in Zakopane.
– I don't really know how his walk started, he just suddenly appeared on Krupówki. The deer was walking calmly, sometimes stopping at the stalls and sniffing something, so everyone around was surprised. Even waiters came out of the restaurant and recorded him on their phones. People lure deer to Krupówki
The reason why deer or other wild animals come into the city is because of people. – These are sporadic incidents when animals enter Krupówki. During the holiday season, when there were a lot of guests and tourists in Zakopane, such unforeseen situations actually occurred, and the worst thing is that tourists feed wild animals, which made them learn that they can easily find this food in the city center, hence their presence – he adds.
