– Zbigniew Ziobro is not afraid – argued in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 PiS MP Michał Wójcik. He added, however, that Ziobro will not voluntarily come to the Commission for Pegasus. Polish MP Aleksandra Leo said that the former Minister of Justice puts himself above the law.
Former minister of justice Zbigniew Ziobro He was summoned on Thursday before the Commission for Pegasus, but he did not appear. Earlier he did not appear at the committee call several times. At the end of January, Ziobro, with the consent of the court, was detained by the police and brought to the Sejm, but ultimately he was not questioned, because the committee closed the meeting after the hour at which he was to appear.
The Commission then, through the Prosecutor General Adam Bodnarsent a request to apply a detention of up to 30 days towards the former Minister of Justice to lead to his interrogation. On March 31, the District Court in Warsaw did not accept the application of the parliamentary commission.
Wójcik: Ziobro is not afraid
PiS MP Michał Wójcik was asked in “Kropka nad i”, why Ziobro is so afraid to stand before the Commission for the Pegasus inquiry. “Of course he is not afraid,” he argued. He estimated that “this is a pseudo -commission.”
Wójcik said that Ziobro would “voluntarily come” to the commission. – Not because he is a more important citizen than anyone else, but out of respect for the law. Because it is Tribunal (constitutional) stated that there was no committee. There is a pseudo -commission – he added.
“He would simply realize what is happening there,” he said.
Leo: Ziobro probably forgot that he is no longer a super -good
MP of Poland 2050 Aleksandra Leo noticed that on March 31 the District Court in Warsaw issued a verdict in which he rejected the commission's request for temporary detention, but “also said that the commission was working legally.”
“You can't choose from the court's judgment what suits you, if something doesn't suit you, reject it,” she said.
– Minister Ziobro did not appear six times. He puts himself above the law. He probably forgot that the times have changed and he is no longer a super -coat who may not come, he has a prosecutor's office in his pocket, because the last testimonies of prosecutors, just at the investigation commission, showed very unfavorable things for Mr. Ziobra – said the MP.
She estimated that “Ziobro is taking a spectacle”.
