Under three government programs, you can receive funding for the purchase of air conditioning. Of course, you have to meet the appropriate conditions. However, there are companies on the market that deal with air conditioning installation and at the same time help in obtaining financing. How much are we talking about?
Air conditioning purchase subsidy. How much can you get for an existing property?
The largest amount can be obtained under the “Clean Air” program – up to PLN 11.1 thousand. Families whose income per person does not exceed PLN 1,090 (PLN 1,590 in a single-person household) can count on such funds. When the amount is PLN 1,894 per person (PLN 2,651 in a single-person household), the subsidy is up to PLN 7.8 thousand or up to 70 percent. costs air conditioning installation. The basic subsidy is PLN 4,400 or up to 40 percent of costs. To qualify for the subsidy, the device we choose must have an energy efficiency of at least A+.
Another program under which you can receive funding is “Mój Prąd 5.0”. In this case, you can receive a maximum of PLN 4.4 thousand in funding, but the amount cannot exceed 50 percent of eligible costs. The condition for receiving money is to buy an air conditioner that works on the principle of an air-to-air heat pump. The second necessary condition is that the device will have a heating function. If application we invest in a heat pump, we also have to use it as the only source of heating.
The costs of installing air conditioning can also be included in the thermal modernization relief. The deduction can be made if the air conditioning has a heating function.
You can also get money to buy air conditioning by building a new house.
The subsidy in the “Moje głowy” program, unlike the two previous ones, is available only in the case of constructing a new building. The non-refundable subsidy obtained within it can amount from seven to even 21 thousand PLN. However, it cannot exceed 30 percent of eligible costs. The exception are holders of the Large Family Card, for whom the limit has been raised to 45 percent. The program is aimed at owners of houses with a higher energy standard. This means that our annual demand for non-renewable primary energy for heating, ventilation and hot utility water can amount to a maximum of 55 kWh.
