A fatal accident occurred on Saturday in Rysy. According to the Tatra Volunteer Ambulance Service, the woman fell from above around the summit. This is not the only action in which the rescuers took part.
As reported in an interview with TVN24, a rescuer on duty of the Tatra Volunteer Ambulance Service, a fatal accident occurred in Rysy. A tourist fell from under the top of the mountain. The woman's body was transported by TOPR helicopter to Zakopane.
This is not the only action that rescuers took on Saturday. A helicopter was taken from Szpiglasowa with a helicopter of two chilled tourists from Spain. On Friday, the TOPR helicopter took part in a rescue operation in the Babia Góra area – a forest worker performing works along the green trail suffered a heart attack. Due to the demanding area that hindered the patient's transport, rescuers from the GOPR group Beskids called for help the TOPR helicopter. The victim was hospitalized in Zakopane.
