Antoni Macierewicz and Adrian Witczak on the work of the Smolensk subcommittee

It started with the question: “Why are you lying so much?” Adrian Witczak (KO) inflicted them to Antoni Macierewicz (PiS) when he talked to journalists about the Smolensk disaster. “You say about the assassination all the time, when there are clear findings that there was a disaster,” he pointed out. Politicians got into a dynamic discussion and shouted. Macierewicz said that MP KO “says as the communists said on those who defended Poles murdered in Katyn.”

PiS MP Antoni Macierewicz, former Minister of National Defense and former head of the Smolensk subcommittee, got into the Sejm on Friday in a discussion with MP KO Adrian Witczak about the activities of this subcommittee.

When Macierewicz talked to journalists in the corridor, repeating, among other things, his theses that the assassination occurred in Smolensk, Witczak approached him and asked: “Why is you lying so much?” – You have been lying in the case of Smolensk so many years and today you repeat this narrative – the politician of KO pointed out to him.

– Can you tell me what kind of lying in? Macierewicz asked him. – You say about the assassination all the time, when there are clear findings, there are clear indications of the committee that there was no assassination, that there was a disaster. Why are you lying so much? Witczak replied.

MPs shouted and accused each other

After that, the politicians began to speak at the same time, and their statements overlapped themselves. The PiS MP asked, among others, “what proof you have” and the MP appeared not to “not build politics on a lie, in a disaster, at the death of others.” – As a citizen of this country, I do not agree to use the death of outstanding Poles – he added. For this, the former head of the Ministry of National Defense replied that “Mr. Putin is saving at all costs.”

Their discussion lasted, politicians got into the word and spoke at the same time. Witczak accused, among other things, that Macierewicz “had contact with Russian services”, and he replied that “you are making a joke.” The first called again to “stop lying”, and the second said that “the Lord not only is lying, but you are constantly trying to make propaganda to the media, which is to hide the Smolensk crime.”

Witczak pointed out that “charges of subcommittee are charged,” and Macierewicz argued that “they are lying” and “are aimed at defending Mr. Tusk at all costs.”

Macierewicz: He behaves like this, as the communists behaved

– It is unacceptable that for so many years we agree to support these lies of Mr. Macierewicz. These lies, where today is once again trying to build politics on the graves. On the graves of people. Stop doing this. You see that in polls You are falling and now trying to strengthen your hard electorate. I am ashamed that Polish politicians are doing something like that – Witczak continued.

– Let him listen to me for a moment. Really. Because it is an unworthy of a Polish politician that you would act like that. There were outstanding politicians there. Regardless of which party they belonged to. And today they deserve respect. And the Lord destroys it. The Lord destroys respect, the Lord destroys historical memory and this is unworthy – added MP KO.

Antonia Macierewicz also spoke all the time at that time. He claimed that “he (Witczak – ed.) He not only lies, he was cheating.”

– It's like Poles saved those murdered in Katyn, right? He behaves exactly like this, as the communists behaved when they attacked Poles at all costs – he continued.

He also agreed that there were outstanding Poles on the Tu-154 aircraft, adding that “even very outstanding”. – They should be respectful, i.e. it must be said that they were murdered so that the Russians have dominated in Europe – argued Macierewicz.

Witczak: You should go to the History Dumpkin

Witczak said again after these words. – I once told you in the parliamentary rostrum that you should go to the dustbin of history. And today I would like to repeat it. You should go to the dustbin of history for what you are doing – said the MP of the Civic Coalition.

– You speak exactly as the communists said on those who defended Poles murdered in Katyn. It is exactly the same. At that time, for 40 years, those Poles who told the truth about the Katyn massacre were planted to prison – answered the former head of the Smolensk subcommittee.
