This is not the news that the leaders expected Kremlin. On Saturday Armenia suspended its participation in all structures established in 2002 Collective Security Treaty Organization (OUBZ).

Pashinyan explained that his country does not see a need to completely withdraw from the organization for now. However, he noted that Yerevan may decide to leave the alliance in the future.

Collective Security Treaty Organization. What is it?
Collective Security Treaty Organization brings together six countries former Soviet Union and is a military alliance. In addition to Russia the members of the organization are: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and precisely Armenia. In this group the leading role belongs to Moscow.
The basis of the organization was the signing of a treaty that came into force in 1994. At that time, the group included three other countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia i UzbekistanIn the following years, these countries left the alliance.
