The audit at the Ministry of National Defense has started. Generous salaries, supervisory boards, bonuses up to PLN 100,000 a year plus allowances – wrote on Friday on Platform

“The audit at the Ministry of National Defense has started. Are you still asking about it, Mr. M. Błaszczak? Generous salaries, supervisory boards, bonuses up to PLN 100,000 a year plus allowances of PLN 3-5 thousand per month. Many people did not show up at work at all ! Record holders earned PLN 600,000 a year… Step by step,” Tomczyk wrote on Friday.

With this entry, he referred to the Thursday tweet of the former head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak.

“So far, your ‘audit’ has consisted of boasting about the contracts I prepared and the receipt of the equipment I ordered. By the way, you can also check the years 2007-2015. Maybe you will finally count how many organizational units of the Polish Army were liquidated during your times. “We stopped counting at 620,” Błaszczak wrote.

“We will want to review all contracts.”

In mid-December, the deputy head of the Ministry of National Defense gave a press conference Cezary Tomczyk he said that an audit of all contracts is currently underway at the Ministry of National Defense. – We will want to review all the contracts that have been signed – he said.

– I hope that all these contracts were prepared reliably, I assume that this is the case and we will inform you in this matter if anything changes. For now, we are in contact with all bidders and those who cooperate with us, and we are also in contact with relevant countries that are interested in cooperation within the arms industry. Everything is going in the right direction, please be calm and I am asking for a moment of patience – added Tomczyk.

The deputy minister of national defense also said: – We want to have our own army, we want to have a strong, well-equipped army. We want to invest in them, so all modernization programs obviously require review, but when it comes to the amount of financing, the financing remains unchanged and at a very high level.
