A serious accident of two passenger cars and a bus occurred on national road 45 near Zimnice Wielkie (Opole Voivodeship). An LPR helicopter landed on site. Two people were taken to hospital, including a child.
On Monday, around 3 p.m., there was an accident of two passenger cars and a bus on national road 45 on the Opole-Krapkowice route.
– The 24-year-old driver of the Fiat did not keep a safe distance and hit the back of the Seat driven by the 29-year-old. Due to the force of the recoil, the Seat car crashed into the Audi in front of it. As a result of this incident, the driver of the Seat and his eight-year-old passenger were injured – says junior asp. Przemysław Kędzior, press officer of the Opole police.
One person was trapped in the car
According to the fire brigade, one person was trapped in the vehicle. Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to pull the person out and transfer them to the care of paramedics.
An air ambulance helicopter landed on site. Two people were taken to hospital.
