Recently, however, the singer shared some sad news via Instagram. Now Doda once again decided to reveal how the 73-year-old feels.
Doda in a new photo with her mother
Doda shared a photo on Instagram, where she is smiling and posing next to Wanda Rabczewska. Both ladies are clearly happy, and the singer's mother is also cuddling her daughter's two dogs. Doda mentions the pets in the caption attached to the photo, but Much more attention is drawn to the fragment in which the singer talks about how the senior citizen is currently feeling, as she was in hospital not long ago. “You can always count on my dogs' faces and poses. Mama Wanda is back in the game,” we can read. In turn, the star's InstaStories featured recordings in which Rabczewska can be heard admiring her mother's figure and legs. – You have great legs, really – complimented Doda. Wanda Rabczewska decided to give her daughter a mini lecture then. – As the years passed, as the way of eating and generally the whole way of living and being, the silhouette of women has changed. Watch myself movies with women after the war. They all had wasp waists and such hips – like grandma – she said, only to add after a while that modern women no longer have such pronounced hips as their ancestors. Photos of Doda with her mother can be found in our gallery, at the top of the article.
Wanda Rabczewska was diagnosed with cancer years ago.
Doda, taking care of her mother's privacy, did not reveal what health problem Wanda Rabczewska is currently struggling with. However, it is known that the 73-year-old has not had an easy life. Years ago, she suffered from cancer. In 2015, in an interview for “Viva!”, she admitted that the diagnosis was a huge shock for her. “You don't believe it, you say: “It's impossible. Others are sick, not me”. And only when you see the result in black and white, you realize that no one is protected,” we could read. Doda understood then that her parents needed more attention and care. Since then, she has tried to spend every free moment with them.
It is worth recalling here that in one of the last interviews Doda was asked about her opinion on centres for the elderly.“This is a very difficult matter. A child cannot live with such a burden of being a servant of their parent, of being responsible for their failures or happiness, because they will not have anything from such a life. (…) This must be balanced,” she explained in an interview with Pomponik. In the same interview, however, she admitted that she would not decide on such a solution. “I do not know if such an extreme situation as a care center would even be an option in my case. (…) Sometimes a patient will have better care under the supervision of doctors in a center. But I am very critical of people who forget about their parents (…) and do not visit them at all,” said the singer.
