Doda some time ago she withdrew from show business. However, she returned and then she told about the fact that during her marriage with Emil S. she struggled with depression. She even became an ambassador for the campaign “Faces of Depression. I don't judge. I accept.” Now she went back to the times when she was sick. She had a good reason for that.
Doda had depression. “I'm not that resilient anymore”
Doda Recently, she has been showing off her vacation photos on Instagram. There was no shortage of bikini photos or shots showing her eating treats or playing with her pets. Now, however, after returning to Poland, she decided to make an important confession. It was about the depression she went through and how the disease changed her. – Hey, my dears, the president of the Twarze Depresji Foundation contacted me – she said Dodashowing the magazine “Twarze Depresji”, on the cover of which she appeared some time ago. – I don't know if you can still get this issue somewhere, but it had a wide resonance and it really tells a very detailed story about my battle with depression. How I was treated, how long it took and what my life looks like after. How I have to protect myself from various things – she said. And later she added:
I am no longer as resistant to certain emotions and stressful situations. And I don't even want to be. I would rather be a person who runs away than take up the gauntlet. I suspect that anyone who has had this disease knows exactly what I'm talking about. It has nothing to do with cowardice, but with the fact that everything that costs peace of mind is expensive.
– we heard.
Doda supports an important initiative
Rabczewska revealed that the president of the Twarze Depresji Foundation asked the singer to support the initiative, which aims to create the largest mural on the subject of mental health. The work, for which Wojciech Brewka is responsible, is to appear in Warsaw's Ursynów districtwill be part of the campaign “Faces of depression. I don't judge. I accept”. – I thought that maybe you would like to support this initiative. For some it's just scribbles on a wall, for some – driving a car, walking down the street, riding a bus, who have a really hard time, struggling with some terrible moments of this disease, when they see this wall and suddenly feel that they are not alone, that there is a way out – it is an inspiration to fight for yourself, which will give hope – she said. The singer encouraged people to donate in the foundation's online fundraiser. – I have the impression that we are not donating to a mural, but rather to a big, huge message “Don't give up” – she concluded.
Doda couldn't sing because of depression
Rabczewska in an interview for Anna Morawska-Borowiec admitted that she lost her voice due to depression. She also talked about the problems in her relationship, which also influenced her illness. – My voice wouldn't come out. There was a tightness in my neck, as if I couldn't breathe. My illness resulted from external factors. Firstly, I failed in a relationship once, I felt unwanted, unloved. It was exaggerated in my head that I would be alone for the rest of my life, because I am so old. And I am Doda, and sometimes that is a curse, because it gives rise to terrible complexes and hatred in my partner. I am almost forty years old, another relationship is falling apart in front of the whole of Poland. Secondly, how could I have been cheated on again, taken in, and again in front of so many people. Thirdly, I hug all the girls who have come out of relationships with psychological violence, because I know what it means – said Doda.
