Before the attack, he allegedly published a specific entry in which he referred to July 13 – the day of the former US president's speech.

According to information from American media, Crooks wrote on the popular gaming platform Steam that “July 13th will be my premiere day, stay tuned to see how it unfolds“.
However, CNN's source did not provide exact date of entryor whether Crooks posted more of these types of posts. “Crooks also entered terms related to major depressive disorder into an Internet search engine,” congressional officials said.
