The District Court in Gorzów Wielkopolski was sent to an indictment against 43-year-old Marcin F. concerns an accident in which a motorcyclist was killed.
On Friday, a spokeswoman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Gorzów Wlkp. Mariola Wojciechowska-Grześkowiak announced that the indictment against Marcin F. went to the District Court in this city.
– It was established that 43-year-old Marcin F. led to an accident, leading under the influence of amphetamine and alcohol at a concentration above 0.5 per mille in the blood- said prosecutor Wojciechowska-Grześkowiak. In addition, he drove the car despite withdrawing the rights to drive in 2018, he was also convicted in 2013 for driving under the influence of a psychotropic substance.
She added that the accused was still detained on remand.
A motorcyclist was killed
The accident occurred on July 8, 2024 on national road number 22 between Strzelce Krajeński and Zdroisk. According to investigators, Marcin F., managing Peugeot 206 and driving at excessive speed, did not exercise due caution when overtaking another car and collided head -on with a coincident on the motorcycle Piotr Sz., Who, as a result of injuries, died on the spot.
For this act, he faces a penalty of 5 to 20 years imprisonment.
