A motorcyclist was driving at a speed of nearly 170 km/h along the Hrubieszów bypass (Lubelskie). He told police that he was in a hurry to get some coal for the grill. He received a 2.5 thousand złoty fine and 15 penalty points.
On Sunday afternoon, Hrubieszów police officers patrolling the area of the city ring road noticed a motorcycle driver who was driving at a speed significantly higher than the speed limit.
A 41-year-old resident of the Werbkowice commune was driving at a speed of 168 km/h in a place where the speed limit is 90 km/h. This was recorded by a police video recorder. – The motorcyclist was stopped for a road check. He explained that he had gone to get coal for the grill – informed Senior Inspector Elżbieta Błaziak from the police in Hrubieszów.
For the offence, the man was fined PLN 2,500 and received 15 penalty points.
