On Monday evening, a fire broke out in a family house on the border between Legionowo and Jabłonna. The fire department said the owners were not inside. The firefighting operation lasted several hours.
The fire appeared in a house in Jabłonna, at Wiejska Street.
– We received the report after 6 pm. At the time of our arrival, the flames were visible outside. The fire affected the roof of the building and the upper floor. Nine hosts were sent to the site, there was also an operational group from the provincial headquarters. There were no injured people. The owners arrived during our activities – said junior brigadier Łukasz Szulborski from the Poviat Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Legionowo in an interview with tvnwarszawa.pl.
He added that the firefighters’ actions consisted of giving two water currents in the attack. – One to secure a nearby building, luckily it was not damaged. We also poured part of the roof to reach the source of the fire. Later, we secured the building with a tarpaulin because of the rain, the firefighter pointed out. He concluded that the activities ended after 21:00.
