After a fatal accident, national road number 12 in Janów (Lubelskie) is blocked. Preliminary findings show that the truck hit a passenger car waiting in a traffic jam to enter Chełm. One person died and two were taken to hospital.
Commissioner Ewa Czyż from the Chełm police informed about the difficulties. On Wednesday after 11 a.m. on national road No. 12 in Janów, a truck hit the rear of a passenger car waiting in a traffic jam to enter Chełm.
“One person died on the spot. Two injured people were transported to hospital,” the policewoman said
The road at the accident site is completely blocked. Detours in both directions have been marked through Pawłów, Rejowiec Fabryczny, Rejowiec and Zawadówka.
