The President of the WOŚP Foundation announced this in the Facebook post. “For us another traumatic experience. Run away. Fear. And how will they set fire? I am begging you, call us to run” – he wrote. He stated that such action was “the continuation of this media shooting and accusations of an aggressive television station.”

Specific and aggressive” – ​​wrote on Saturday evening on Facebook. He also attached a few photos of the damaged fence. Among the painted subtitles include “sepsa”, among others. The fight with Sepsa was the main goal of the collection in 2023.

Threats to Jerzy Owsiak

Recently, punishable threats have been directed at Owsiak.

At the end of January, the National Prosecutor's Office reported that several proceedings were conducted regarding the management of threats or calling to commit a crime of murder against Jerzy Owsiak. According to the spokesman of the National Prosecutor's Office Przemysław Nowak, “in the explanations of the suspects indicated that the inspiration to commit the deeds was a media message about Jerzy Owsiak.”

Just before the 33rd WOŚP finale, which took place on January 26 this year, the Basta Foundation published a report of the Media Monitoring Institute prepared at her request. It shows that out of 218 materials broadcast between 1 and 12 January 2025 on Telewizja Republika and WPOLSK24 on the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and Jerzy Owsiak, 89 percent were clearly negative.

They focused on personal attacks and undermining the transparency of the foundation's activities. The messages reached a total of up to 13 million recipients, and the advertising equivalent of such materials was estimated at PLN 3.82 million – according to the report.
